Part L – Energy efficiency

Part L focuses on reducing the amount of energy used by buildings and minimising carbon emissions. For windows and doors, this means improving insulation and thermal performance to prevent heat loss. Double and triple glazing with high-quality seals and low-emissivity (Low-E) glass are essential in meeting Part L requirements.

Part F – Ventilation

To comply with Part F: Windows must allow for background ventilation (like trickle vents) Habitable rooms and wet rooms (like kitchens or bathrooms) must have adequate air extraction Designs must balance energy efficiency with proper airflow We incorporate ventilation features into our glazing products—such as trickle vents, opening styles, and integration with mechanical systems—while still maintaining excellent energy ratings.

Part M – Accessibility

Part M is all about ensuring accessibility and usability for all building users, including people with disabilities. For doors and windows, this means easy operation, safe access, and appropriate placement.
